The Crystal Glass Guarantee
Crystal Glass guarantees the seal on your auto glass installation for as long as you own the vehicle, with the exception of leaking due to body deterioration. Furthermore, Crystal Glass will warranty the windshield against pressure cracks (breakage for no apparent reason) and distortion for a period of 30 days. There is no warranty on tempered parts.
Crystal Glass guarantees all windshield repairs for as long as you own the vehicle. If the windshield cracks from the repaired area, Crystal Glass will deduct the original cost of rock chip repair from the new windshield replacement cost. In the event a new windshield replacement is necessary, the insured must pay the deductible portion of their insurance.
Our History
1949
Ed Bean starts Edmonton Crystal Glass Shop on Whyte Ave in Edmonton.
Ed partners with long-term staff to start Western Crystal Glass, with branches in Edmonton, Leduc and Lloydminster. Crystalite Insulated Glass Plant opens in Edmonton.
1978
1992
Ed partners with Gordon & Francis Russell to form Crystal Kids Youth Center, supporting underprivileged youth (www.crystalkids.org).
Crystal Glass employee, Alfie Ogston, invents the Extractor tool for windshield removal (www.extractor.ca).
1994
2002
The Can Am Glass Products plant opens in Edmonton. The Plant includes a tempering furnace, insulated glass production line and state of the art glass manufacturing equipment.
Crystal Glass merges with Western Crystal to form a single entity: Crystal Glass Canada Ltd.
2009
OUR COMMUNITIES
One of the cornerstones to the success of Crystal Glass is our contribution to our community. We take this commitment seriously and give back whenever possible.
